installing github

step 0: prerequisites

this tutorial assumes the following:

1. you are registered and logged into gitenvs.com
2. you are registered and logged into github.com

step 1: choose github

press "connect"

step 2: install github app

follow the steps from the github marketplace to install the gitenvs app.

step 2b: narrow repository access (optional)

it's high recommended to narrow the installation scope to the repositories you only need. this can be adjusted at any time in the future

step 3: choose repository

these are the repositories that the installation has access to. simply press "create project" to get started. this will auto create the project in gitenvs and install a webhook on github.
